COCOA MARTINI is an award-winning jazz ensemble featuring three Seattle-area vocalists -- Kimberly Reason, Kay Bailey and Nadine Shanti -- who delight and surprise with inventive vocal ensemble harmonies and distinctive solo performances.
Backed by Bill Anschell on piano, Chuck Kistler on bass, and Brian Kirk on drums, the talented vocalists deliver a dynamic repertoire of straight-ahead jazz and Latin standards infused with pop, funk and old-school soul.
Since its sold-out debut at the Triple Door in 2007, COCOA MARTINI has become one of the Northwest's most popular jazz ensembles. The group has been featured on Seattle Channel's "Art Zone," in The Seattle Times, and on KKNW 1150 AM's Urban Forum Northwest.
COCOA MARTINI is the recipient of Earshot Jazz Society's Golden Ear Award for Best Vocalist of the Year.
